//Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will ultimately be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and reporting the client’s Social Media strategy for a well-known Abu Dhabi brand. Ensuring that the client’s Social Media campaign KPI’s are aligned with the marketing objectives.

Operational

Digital Experience

  • Digital knowledge and experience managing digital ad campaigns preferred

  • Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Social Media

  • Experience designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting on ad campaign’s performance essential

  • Experience with Facebook and Google advertising and analytics

Ensure delivery of Social Media planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting steps are followed:

Social Media Strategy

  • Review competitor’s social media

  • Set clear and specific goals and objectives for all social media channels individually

  • Discuss key themes and messages

  • Discuss content style

  • Discuss graphic style

  • Discuss and develop video style

  • English vs Arabic

  • Knowledge of Key dates (International and National days)

  • Meet with client to review social media strategy

  • Approve final social media strategy with client and eWavelength

  • Ensure final client sign off before proceeding with campaign

Campaigns

  • Suggest campaign themes and promotional ideas for social

  • Produce Campaign calendar high level

  • Review incentives and competitions

  • Develop Project Plan & Handover dates

  • Boosting strategy High level

  • Agree on last minute request timeline

  • Review

Posting

  • Write posts

  • Discuss posts with graphic designer

  • Create design with image preview

Relationship Managemet

  • It is essential to have develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring cultural sensitivities are respected.

  • Work closely with client and graphic designer for delivery of digital assets

  • Social media reporting -monitor, analyse and prepare social media reporting, ensuring campaign KPI’s are aligned with campaign objectives

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing and monitoring social media campaigns

  • Weekly reporting on social media campaign performance KPIs and ROI

  • Ability to work with multicultural teams in a professional manner

  • PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to interpret reports from Google, Facebook and Adobe analytics

  • Social media experience managing social media ad campaigns and reporting

  • Ability to write authentic copy that is reflective of the tone and voice of the client’s brand

  • Ability to work closely with client and graphic designer to deliver creative assets required

  • Strong relationship management skills with Internal and External stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to identify potential negative or crisis management situations across client’s social media platforms

  • Continual monitoring of client’s competitor’s social media platforms

  • Ability to translate and communicate data into actionable items

  • Excellent time management skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Excellent English – spoken and written

Min 1-4 years of Digital and Social media experience

Diploma level as a minimum

  • Understanding of social media platforms, (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.)

  • Proficient in Facebook and Google analytics
